When pool was brought into pool spray of first APEC session, President Obama was speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin. They were standing next to Mr. Putin's seat at he round table. They spoke for a few moments then Mr. Obama said ok, and they shook hands before Mr. Obama walked to his seat and Mr. Putin sat down at his.
Pool could not hear anything they said.
